This course is perfect for anyone looking to learn the basics of Procreate, whether you're new to digital art or eager to explore this powerful tool. Suitable for all ages, the course is designed to guide you step-by-step through essential features and techniques. Course Details: Duration: 6 weeks, 1.5 hours per session Suitable for ages 8-16yrs Course Fee: £75 What You’ll Need: iPad or similar Procreate app (pre-installed) Stylus or Apple Pencil (Apple Pencil is preferred but not required) Course Outline: Week 1: Introduction to Procreate Overview of Procreate and its professional uses Setting up your canvas and understanding resolution Exploring basic brushes, tools, and blending modes Activity: Create a sketch, pattern, or design and export your work as a PNG. Week 2: Brush Techniques & Layering Customising brushes and exploring texture Techniques for creating depth with highlights and shadows Managing layers effectively Activity: Create a textured image using multiple layers. Week 3: Character Design Introduction to character design and transformation tools Adding expression and personality to your characters Activity: Design a character using shading, colouring, and layering techniques. Bonus: Turn your character into a sticker! Week 4: Digital Painting Follow along to a guided digital painting Proportions, shading, and in-depth colouring Using references in your artwork Activity: Recreate a reference-based image using the techniques learned. Week 5: Pixel Art Learn the basics of pixel art and brush customisation Framing the canvas for pixel art Activity: Create a pixel art character or object. Week 6: Final Project & Showcase Choose your favourite technique and create a final piece Present your work and participate in a peer review session Activity: Share your final digital artwork with the group and receive feedback. Cancellation Policy

Terms and Conditions – Art Classes and Workshops 1. Booking and Payment Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place in any class, workshop, or course. Bookings are confirmed via email upon receipt of payment. 2. No Refunds Policy We operate a strict no-refunds policy once a booking is made. This applies to all courses, workshops, and classes. 3. Cancellations and Rescheduling by the Participant If you need to cancel your booking, we are unable to offer a refund. However: If cancellation is made more than 7 days before the start of the class/workshop, we will offer a one-time transfer to an alternative date or class, subject to availability. For cancellations made within 7 days of the class/workshop, no rescheduling or refund will be possible. 4. Cancellations by the Art School If we need to cancel or reschedule a class or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, venue issues), we will: Offer a full refund; or Provide a transfer to an alternative date or class. 5. Illness and Emergencies If you or a child participant is unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, please inform us as soon as possible. We may, at our discretion, offer a transfer to another class if notice is provided more than 24 hours before the scheduled start. For last-minute illness (within 24 hours), no transfers or refunds will be available. 6. Missed Classes We cannot offer refunds or make-up sessions for missed classes if you are unable to attend a scheduled session. 7. Materials All materials required for the class or workshop are included in the cost unless otherwise specified. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials if preferred. 8. Health and Safety All participants must follow health and safety guidelines provided by the instructor. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur due to failure to comply with safety instructions. 9. Special Circumstances We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. In such cases, we will review requests for refunds or transfers on a case-by-case basis, at our discretion. 10. Changes to Terms and Conditions We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and communicated to participants where appropriate.
