Our 6-week Parent & Child Pottery Wheel Course offers a wonderful opportunity to work side-by-side on the pottery wheel, learning the art of throwing clay together. Suitable for children aged 8-16 years and their parents, this course is designed to be both fun and educational, providing hands-on experience with the pottery wheel, guidance from skilled instructors, and plenty of time to create unique pottery pieces. Course Details: Duration: 6 weeks (1 hour per session) Day: Fridays Time: 4:30 - 5:30pm Ages: 8-16 years (children) + one parent or guardian Location: Pictura Studios, Chester Cost: £15 per Child per session, or £25 per parent-child pair per session (sharing a wheel amnd making a piece each) What to Expect: Hands-on Pottery Wheel Instruction: Learn the basics of throwing clay, centring, and shaping on the wheel. Creative Collaboration: Work together with your child to create beautiful pottery pieces, including bowls, mugs, plates, and more. All Materials Provided: Clay, tools, glazes, and equipment are included in the course fee. Take Home Your Creations: At the end of the course, you’ll take home your glazed and fired pottery pieces as lasting keepsakes.
